The Salesian Center arose from a dream to establish a permanent presence in the Center Valley for the legacy of Christian Humanism as lived and taught by St. Francis de Sales, who believed that goodness (what he called "devotion") is not only possible but necessary in every state in life.
From its conception in a small faculty office, the Salesian Center has grown in stature and influence. But for it to take more definitive shape and become a lasting reality, the Salesian Center for Faith and Culture now needs to benefit from a capital campaign that will provide a permanent foundation for its work.
According to the master plan, the Salesian Center for Faith and Culture will be the "architectural jewel" of the campus and will fittingly house the critical campus entity that the Salesian Center is and will be.
