“Personally, I think that this scholarship will not only set me up for life but will set me up to succeed in the future because it will give me the foundation I need spiritually to get through the hardships in my life.”

How did you learn about the Leadership Scholarship?

When I visited, I knew that’s where I wanted to be. When I met with one of the financial aid advisors, she told me about the Leadership Scholarship.

What do you love about DeSales?

DeSales provides the foundation for strong morals and strong tradition and just that family atmosphere that I was looking for. They have a lot of Catholic things that other universities don’t provide.

Advice for applicants who are worried about the interview process?

It was very intimidating at first just being around the college scene and the staff. But when I sat down and actually talked with them, I felt that they wanted to get to know me as a person, not just as a number, which some of the big universities often do.

Fun Fact?

I’m the youngest of five children.
