DeSales University Ranked No. 64 on US News Best Colleges List

2017 US News and World Report Ranking

DeSales University ranked 64th among regional universities in the north for 2018.  The U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges Rankings were released this week ranking the academic excellence of colleges and universities on up to 15 measures of academic quality.  The rankings emphasize student outcomes – including graduation and retention rates – which are indicators of how well a school supports the academic and financial success of its students.

DeSales shares its 64th position with SUNY College at Brockport (N.Y.), Fairleigh Dickinson University (N.J.), Johnson & Wales University (RI), Philadelphia University (Pa.), West Chester University (Pa.), and Western New England University (Mass.).

Within the rankings (Regional North):

  • DSU outperformed 18 higher ranked universities on average first-year student retention rate.
  • DSU outperformed 29 higher ranked universities on the actual graduation rate.
  • DSU outperformed 17 higher ranked universities on average alumni giving rate.
