For the second year in a row, the DeSales University ACCESS Program has been named a Leader in Adult Education for the 2017 Who’s Who in Business, Lehigh Valley.
“We are truly humbled and honored to receive the Who’s Who award for the second consecutive year,” says Deborah Booros, dean of lifelong learning. “This award distinguishes the University as one with a real commitment to reaching out into the community and helping adult learners achieve their highest potential.”
ACCESS is currently celebrating its 40th anniversary, which makes the recognition even more special for Booros. Going forward, she says ACCESS will continue to partner with community leaders to develop innovative programming, such as digital badges and micro-credentials. “These programs will offer new ways of acknowledging current experience and prior learning providing countless opportunities for adult learners.”
The Who’s Who in Business survey, now in its 33rd year, identifies and recognizes business leaders in the Lehigh Valley. An independent market research firm conducts an objective and unbiased survey of Lehigh Valley residents.
