Michelle MalkinMichelle Malkin, is a Philadelphia – South Jersey native.  She is a child of Philippine citizens who immigrated to the United States. She attended Holy Spirit Roman Catholic High School where she edited the school newspaper and aspired to become a concert pianist.  She attended Oberlin College where she worked as a press inserter, tax preparation aide, and network news librarian.  Her journalism career began at the Los Angeles Daily News. She became a journalism fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C., spent a number of years at the Seattle Times, and in 1999 became a nationally syndicated columnist with Creators Syndicated.  Since 2007, she has concentrated on her writing, blogging and public speaking, although she still appears on television, especially with Sean Hannity on Fox News and Fox and Friends once a week
