Students who are not eligible for Federal Work Study are giving the option for institutional employment; work opportunities are the same for both. A student's award is paid in the form of a bi-monthly payroll check for time/hours worked. The awarded amount is only a budget as each student is not guaranteed to receive the total amount of the budget, only payment for the time worked.
Students who accept work study are instructed to obtain a Federal Work-Study or Institutional Employment eligibility application from the Office of Financial Aid and may not begin until they turn in all the necessary employment paperwork to the payroll clerk in the Treasurer's Office.
