U.S. News and World Report has ranked the DeSales University Online ACCESS program 169th in the nation and the Online MBA program 167th in the nation.
“The ACCESS staff, students, and faculty are thrilled about being ranked among the nation’s top online bachelor’s degree programs,” said Debra Booros, dean of lifelong learning. “The DSU ACCESS Program offers online programs for military personnel, stay-at-home moms and dads, or people who just cannot get to campus on a daily basis and we continue to work diligently to meet the needs and desires of our current and prospective distance education students.”
“The DeSales MBA team is delighted to make this prestigious list of the top online programs in America,” said David Gilfoil, director of the DeSales MBA program. “Currently thirty-seven percent of our registrations are online registrations – and we expect that number to grow. We are also gearing up for more demand from ‘online only’ students. To meet this demand, we are striving to continuously improve the quality and quantity of our online educational offerings.”
The University's online education program is among nearly 1,000 programs surveyed by U.S. News; only regionally accredited schools that met the federal standard of 100 percent online course delivery were evaluated.
For the 2014 editions of the Best Online Bachelor's Programs and the Best Online Business Programs rankings, U.S. News evaluated program ratings by peer institutions, student engagement, faculty credentials and training, and student services and technology.
