DeSales University is a medium-sized, private, four-year Catholic university with a Salesian mission administered by the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales.

Our priority is to provide our students with a quality, broad-based liberal arts, career centered education. Our students are exposed to Catholic teachings but are also afforded the luxury of exploring in an atmosphere of intellectual freedom. Everyone is treated with the dignity of the human person that they deserve.

What makes the DeSales DNP program unique?

Innovative, flexible format allows you to continue working while pursuing doctoral study.

Complete the program in two to three years of full-time study with our concentrated course work and intensive faculty contact.
Mentoring, advising, and professional networking opportunities are built directly into the program.

Faculty maintain active clinical practices, have years of advanced practice experience across a variety of specialty areas, and are active in their state and national organizations.

The mission of the DNP Program is to provide a quality, practice-based education for masters-prepared nurses who will influence and manage the challenges of the delivery of health care for individuals, families and populations within the tenets and beliefs of Christian humanism.

The intention of the DNP degree is to provide the additional knowledge and competencies to equip masters-prepared nurses to affect health outcomes.
