Nursing and Physician Assistant Students Participate in Bridging the Gaps Internships

The Bridging the Gaps (BTG) Community Health Internship Program is a 7-week interdisciplinary internship for healthcare professionals. DeSales undergraduates from the nursing and physician assistant programs participated in BTG this summer serving vulnerable populations in five sites in the Lehigh Vallley.

The community sites were Alliance Hall, Casa Guadalupe, Neighborhood Health Centers of the Lehigh Valley, St. Luke's Community Health, and the Sixth Street Shelter.
