Become proficient in both marketing and the science you need to succeed in the ever-expanding pharmaceutical industry.
This interdisciplinary undergraduate degree is offered jointly by the Division of Business and the Department of Natural Science. As a pharmaceutical marketing major, you'll have the opportunity to explore a career in the fields of research and development, sales and marketing, education of health professionals, pharmacy academic programs, or with the federal government.
Since the pharmaceutical industry is very competitive, our career services office can help you plan your internship and gain valuable experience necessary to post-graduate success.
The Capstone Business Simulation
As part of the curriculum for senior seminars in accounting, finance, management, management of information technology, and marketing, senior business students participate in a global computer simulation game. They operate a business and make decisions relating to marketing strategy, human resources, sales, and finance.
Want to major in two different areas of business?
No problem! Most of your major core courses will be completed during your freshman and sophomore years, so you can work on your second major during your junior and senior years. That means you can complete two degrees in the traditional four year period.
