Biggest Achievement: Creating a personal connection to Peru that includes forging amazing memories, friendships, and even gaining family within the South American country.

Biggest Disappointment: Not advancing further in the 2007 SIFE National Exposition and not winning the McGowan scholarship the year before.

Career Goals: To start my own successful international business. More importantly though, that I enjoy my career, that I'm proud of what I do, and that I look forward to starting everyday anew.

Influential People: In my personal life, it would be my parents, my family, and my friends. At DeSales, it was Dr. Tahereh Hojjat, Dr. Susan McGorry, Dr. Jay Lacke, Charles Finady, Dave Woods, and Michael Krajsa. These business professors encouraged their students to think outside the box, and to apply the concepts that they learned in the classroom to real-world situations.

Favorite Quote: "Success means having the courage, the determination, and the will to become the person you believe you were meant to be." -- George Sheehan.

Biggest Challenge: Organizing and leading the University's August 2007 expedition to Peru.

Best Advice Received: Don't settle for mediocrity.

Advice I Would Give: Look beyond the surface level of a situation. Like an iceberg, there's a great deal that cannot be seen unless you delve underneath the surface. Also -- dream big, and follow through in all things.

Toughest Obstacle I Overcame: Improving my self-confidence.

What I Liked Best About DeSales: The personal attention and opportunities afforded to its students.

What I Miss Most About DeSales: Dorm life and living closer to my friends.

What I Miss Least About DeSales: The cafeteria food.

Advice for Present DeSales Students: "Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly." - Robert F. Kennedy.

"Never doubt that a small, group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." -- Margaret Mead.

"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I... I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference." -- Robert Frost.
