Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education

The baccalaureate degree in nursing, master's degree in nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice program and post-graduate APRN certificate programs at DeSales University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.aacn.nche.edu/ccne-accreditation). 

 

 

Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies

The Physician Assistant Program at DeSales University is accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, Inc. (ARC-PA). This continuing accreditation is current until September 2017.

The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician, Inc. (ARC-PA) has granted Accreditation-Continued to the Physician Assistant Program sponsored by DeSales University. Continued Accreditation is an accreditation status granted when a currently accredited program is in compliance with the ARC-PA Standards.

Continued Accreditation remains in effect until the program closes or withdraws from the accreditation process or until accreditation is withdrawn for failure to comply with the Standards. The approximate date for the next validation review of the program by the ARC-PA will be September 2017.

Effective August 4, 2014, DeSales University has been granted Candidate for Accreditation status by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (1111 North Fairfax Street, Alexandria, VA, 22314; phone: 703-706-3245; email: accreditation@apta.org).  Candidacy is not an accreditation status nor does it assure eventual accreditation.  Candidate for Accreditation is a pre-accreditation status of affiliation with the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education that indicates the program is progressing toward accreditation.
