Faculty in the department are internationally educated and nationally known for their professional work. In addition to being well-respected teachers, their professional work -- in terms of publications, presentations, and community activities -- provides a strong record of scholarship and service.
Every faculty member who teaches Theology does so in full accord with a mandatum he/she has received from the Bishop of Allentown.
Students - together with faculty - participate in a dialogue of faith and reason and have the opportunity to pursue special interests (e.g., bioethics, Salesian Spirituality) and to participate in distinct programs (e.g., National Honors Society). As alumni, our department's graduates work in a variety of fields that strengthen the human community.
